Tateskate

Live Action 2011

A commission from Tate Modern, displayed in the Turbine Hall of their Bankside gallery

The skaters on the South Bank are as much a part of the area's cultural life as Tate Modern itself, and this short film tries to capture some of the vibrancy and excitement of a 'pop-up' skate park. The film was completed in under 48 hours, filmed with 3 cameras over a 4-hour period and edited during the night, then shown over the next 4 days in the Tate's Turbine Hall.
